Mössbauer spectrometers

Currently we are offering these products. For further informations see the attached documents.

MS-96

The main features:

  • fast spectrometric section on the basis of scintillation detector with YAlO3:Ce crystal allows high productivity of transmission measurements. The time of Mössbauer spectra acquisition could be 5-10 times less than for ordinary Mössbauer spectrometers (depend on the source activity)
  • high accuracy of Mössbauer measurements (nonlinearity less than 0,1%)
  • no PC-board required. Instrument is fully independent on PC, computer is used to start/stop measurement and store measured data only. Connection by standard serial line(RS232).
  • compact framework, small dimensions and mass (dim. 420x180x150mm; mass 9kg)
  • high radiation protection, double external vibrations protection, modern original design
  • wide system adaptation possibilities
  • user friendly SW built in LabVIEW® (Linux version available on demand)

Above mentioned features makes this design unique and original in comparison with the competitors at the market Today, more than 20 spectrometers working around the world (e.g. Sweden, United Kingdom, Israel, South Africa, Japan….)

MS-2006

The main features:

  • the whole system is based on the two standard PC cards produced by National Instruments Corp. The modules are used as a velocity generator and detector signal digitizer. The choice of the version of PC card influences the prize and the speed of the system. Possible combinations cover whole usage range from education purposes to high speed science systems
  • transducer unit, mechanical parts solution and detector is based on the advantages of MS-96 system
  • virtual Mössbauer spectrometer is implemented by the graphical programming language LabVIEW®.
  • PXI system version also available Individual components, proportional counters (CEMS, CXMS), NaI(Tl) scintillating detectors, resonant detectors are also available.

The producer team could offer more than 15 year of experiences with Mössbauer equipment construction. Several system adaptations were developed (He-close cycle, In-situ high temperature measurements, CEMS…)

CEMS-2008

The new Conversion electron Mössbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) and Conversion X-ray Mössbauer spectroscopy (CXMS) spectrometer based on a prototype of integral 2π multiwire anode continuous gas flow counter for room temperature measurements has been built, optimized and applied to study of nanolayers. A Penning mixture of monoatomic and quenching gas, 90% He + 10% CH4 (CEMS) or 90% Ar + 10% CH4 (CXMS) specifically, is used as a counting gas.
