Research activities

Fundamental and applied research in the areas of wave and statistical optics – speckle metrology, optical measurement techniques.

Current activities

Experimental and theoretical research in the field of the speckle metrology – design of laboratory sensors for detection of a small deformation of an object´s by speckle correlation method, analysis of sensitivity and accuracy of measurement, investigation of influence of the signals with 1 bit depth on quality of measurement by speckle correlation, methods for determination of mean speckle size in simulated speckle pattern.
