Physisorption allows us to quantify the surface area of a powder materials, their pore size and pore volume distribution. Our instrument (Autosorb iQ 3XR, Anton-Paar) is equipped with 0.1 torr transducer for ultra-low pressure (10-8 P/Po) physisorption measurements, particularly used for active carbons, zeolites or MOFs. The instrument is equipped with 3 measurement ports which enables a very good workflow. The analysis can be performed with nitrogen, argon and carbon dioxide, optionally can be also used crypton for samples with low surface area.
