Education
Rambabu Yalavarthi earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the “Indian Institute of Technology Madras” (IITM), Chennai, India in 2017, where he studied the Synthesis of TiO2 nanotube-graphene, Nanocomposites and their interfacial charge transport characteristics for Photoelectrochemical and Photocatalysis applications.
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Photoelectrochemistry Group at Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM), Palacký University, Olomouc, Czech Republic.
Research Interest
Currently working on the synthesis of photonic and plasmonic nanostructures including semiconductor thin films for light-harvesting applications.
Besides, his work mainly focuses on the analysis of the defect-related interfacial charge, transport/transfer characteristics of semiconductor/electrolyte junctions, using various spectroscopic probing techniques.
