Education
Philippe Vuka Tsalu earned his MSc in Chemistry from the “University of Ulsan” [South Korea] in 2019. He studied Single nanoplasmonic metal imaging and spectroscopy for sensing and enhanced photochemistry. Then, he moved to Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), in Japan to study the structural, electronic and magnetic properties of solid-state materials under extreme conditions of temperature and pressure.
Currently, he is Researcher in the Photoelectrochemistry Group at the Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials, Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN), Palacký University Olomouc
Research Interest
Recently, his research is focused on ligth-harvesting and interfacial charge transport properties of nanoplasmonics and associated hybrid heteronanostructures to enhance the elctrophoto-response in plasmon assisted catalytic processes.
