Research Areas
The Group operates at the convergence of atomic-scale material engineering and real-world biological deployment, building functional platforms where the chemical identity of individual atomic sites directly determines device or therapeutic performance. The group builds on the principle that individual atomic sites can be engineered to govern macroscopic biological outcomes, opening a design space that goes fundamentally beyond what conventional nanomaterials allow. The developed materials are targeted towards application in biointerfaces, where atomic precision meets biological complexity, and where the boundary between engineered matter and living systems becomes a programmable frontier for diagnostics and medicine.
