Spolupráce: The Pierre Auger Cosmic Ray Observatory
The Pierre Auger Cosmic Ray Observatory is studying ultra-high energy cosmic rays (energy > 10E19 eV). The observatory is located on the vast plain known as the Pampa Amarilla (yellow prairie) in western Argentina. Joint Laboratory of Optics produces glass mirror for fluorescence telescopes and Lidars, All Sky cameras for background light monitoring. The employees participate in the observatory operation, measurement of optical properties of fluorescence telescopes and optical elements, data analysis, modeling, design and analysis of optical systems.
