  • preparation of magnetic materials and magnetic modification of non-magnetic materials for bio- a environmental applications:
  • various methods for magnetic modification of non-magnetic materials (biomaterials, inorganic materials or synthetic polymers) with interesting and beneficial properties
  • study of properties and characterization of magnetic (bio)composite materials
  • application of magnetic materials (carriers for immobilization of enzymes and cells, adsorbents of xenobiotics, magnetic modification of enzymes and cells, biosensors, isolation of biologically active compounds,…)
  • preparation and study of magnetic biochar as perspective material for environmental applications (reactive biochar with nZVI; magnetically modified biochar)
  • review papers dealing with preparation and application of magnetically responsive materials
